On July 28^th, at the Culture information Center of  My Tho City, Tien Giang Province, the meeting calling for “Reducing the violence to children”, was held with the parade of riding motorbikes. The attenders also included the Deputy of  People’s Committee of My Tho City – Mr. Nguyen Van Vung, and the leaders of the departments of Tien Giang Province.

In the meeting for “Reducing the violence to children”, Ly Nha Ky moved to tears when she watched the play named “The Child”, which was about the violent evil. In the play, the little child wasobsessed by theintensepunishments of his mother.

The innocent eyes of the poor child, punished ruthlessly in the play, made Ly Nha Ky totally heart-breaking. And she gave the speech with all her love to the children, and the indignation when she thought of the children, who were hit by their parents. Moreover, she understands that the violence will definitely affect the spirit of those children.

The deep and sincere statement of Ly Nha Ky touched the heart of many mothers and made them cry. In her own story, she shared: “I myself not only went through the difficulties and the up-and-down life but also had a childhood like others. Therefore, I understand that the children growing up with love, care and education of parents will help them become good persons with kind thoughts and beautiful soul. Please don’t let the violence turn into the imprint of children’s mind when they grow up. With the mothers and Vietnamese women, let’s protect the children.”

Ly Nha Ky has the chance and fortune to visit various countries around the world, access to many difficult lives in her progress of charity. In her mind, she is always in torment and obsessed by the abuseon the children not only in Vietnam but also around the world.

“Being a Vietnamese woman, I always uphold and cherish the image of Vietnamese women, who dedicate their life to take care of children; especially, the breast-feeding image of those is really touched and the most beautiful thing to international friends. That is the demonstration of Vietnamese people’s awareness of protecting children. – Ly Nha Ky said, at the campaign.

At the same time, she stated: “Being the president of Vietnam Health - Education Development Fund, I call on every body to launch the media campaign and together commit that children have the right to be loved, be in care and get thebest education.”

A lot of mothers cried when Ly Nha Ky came and inquired after each of them. She directly shared that every mother loves their children, cares for them and worried about their future. They sometimes can not imagine that the violence or spiritual abuse can have bad impact on their children’s life.

Ly Nha Ky shared that to prevent the abuse on children, crush the pains brought by violence is not the matter of every individual, but the need of understanding of every family, and the helps of the public and society. As various other women, Ly Nha Ky expressed her endless love to children. For such big love, she has the enthusiasm to carry on the programs of protecting and taking care of children.

After the meeting, she was dressed in green, and accompanied with the adolescents and volunteers riding motorbike on the streets to campaign for this program. The bright, beautiful and friendly image of Ly Nha Ky attracted attention of the people of My Tho City.

Although she was worried about not riding for a long time, she both talked friendly and smiled sweetly. Furthermore, she was so kindly with children, and visited many women and families. All the beautiful moments of Ly Nha Ky, which were so warm and affecting, were kept in heart of the My Tho people.
