Ly Nha Ky along with her partners and dedicated fans just had a visit and giving gifts to nearly 200 orphans and children with disabilities during her own birthday. She could not hold her tears when encountering many unfortunate young lives at the center.
Being much celebrated and successful in different fields, never has she forgotten her humble begin. She always organizes charity trips to provide helps and necessities to those who are in need whenever her schedule allows. Especially, this successful businesswoman has a special place in her heart for orphans as well as children with disabilities
As an artist, Ly Nha Ky is very committed to social work.
She has been considering ever since hearing about Tam Binh Children Foster Care Center, home to many orphans, for the first time from a friend. Even though her schedules was always packed, the president of Viet Nam Health Education Development Fund immediately organized a gathering in order to give presents and learn more about children at the center. Many people could relate to her good heart as friends and fans volunteered to join her for the trip, including 2 very special guests who were Haiti Ambassador – Mr. Jean Lesly Benoit, and the famous French film producer – Mr. Charles Gillibert.
Unexpectedly, when she was handing gifts to the children at the center, she was surprised
with 4 birthday cakes that stood for her initials.
Arrived early, Ly Nha Ky came in a simple white shirt and black jeans. With much joy and bliss, the nurses and all children happily welcomed her. Not only directly handing 175 presents and stopping by each room to talk to the young ones, but Ly Nha Ky and her team also self prepared lunch for everyone.
This was not the first time that Ly Nha Ky busted into tears upon encountering many unfortunate children.
To celebrate her new age, her fans have secretly organized a surprise party for her right at the center. Velvet roses and 4 birthday cakes that came together to write her initials LYNK were the two touching gifts from her fans.
She was more than happy to receive this special treat from her fans.
Even more to her surprise, the children at Tam Binh Children Foster Care Center especially gave her a hand drawn picture for her birthday. While embracing a young girl who had the same birthday with her, she movingly shared, “This perhaps is one of my most heart-warming and memorable birthdays”.
Many people supposed that this charity trip during her birthday was only an act of seeking fame. Ly Nha Ky calmingly faced those critics, saying: “If sharing my joy, sharing my blessing is only for fame, then I will keep being a fame seeker and never stop spreading happiness to more and more people, rather being called a person who does not give”.
Beside, Ly Nha Ky also denied and cleared out the boiling rumor that she was getting married. She explained that the event, of which pictures were spreading online non-stop, was only a private birthday party for her family and friends.
