It’s unbelievable that Ly Nha Ky who’s well known for luxurious, mesmerizing and ladylike images with billion-worthy outfits that cause turmoil in Vietnamese showbiz as well as international fashion weeks, but now she dressed up very simple and even a bit sleazy. In front of my is Ly Nha Ky with one side braided hair style having a little hair hung down on her face, pink t-shirt, white khaki pants and flip-flop. Still with that big black eyes and oval shape face, Ly Nha Ky sat down on stairs and laid her head on her balm glancing wonderingly. When seeing us coming in, Ly Nha Ky quickly stood up and smiled brightly greeting us.

Elevator took us to the 6^th floor of a grand mansion located on Nguyen Hue Street – where company of Ky is. At that time around 2:30 PM, although just 2 days before Kitchen God ceremonial offering, but there was almost no employee left in her office, only 1 employee was there. Greeting me into the meeting room and offering a glass of water, Ky not sitting in front of me but beside me, started to share stories about life and career of a star, a well known business woman of Saigon. Ky told me that she just finished her lunch, since she’s afraid of being late for the meeting so not having enough time for makeup. But strangely she was still very beautiful and looking radiant.

Looking around the empty office, Ky said that she let nearly all employees off for Tet holidays. There was only her and one employee left this evening. Ky started stories about life and working. Perhaps Ly Nha Ky is the most workaholic woman I’ve ever met. Every task must be taken care by herself so she could rest assured. From company business activities to the fashion & diamond store, and real estate projects Ky takes care them all.

Although resting shortly for only 4-5 hours per day, but Ky still looks dynamic and fluently which is very seldom to see. Average per day she wakes up at 7:00 AM, going to work at 8:00 AM and keeping working until 11:00 – 12:00 midnight.

By year end, the beauty was still too busy with documents and papers at the company until 2 PM to have lunch. Having very little spare time so Ly Nha Ky rarely chooses high-class restaurants, she only has common lunch box at 33,000 VND, not as many people think of her luxurious or regal, mandarin’s attitude living style.

Even I was very surprised with her completely contrast image of being too unbelievably plain and simple like this. Who can believe in their eyes the beauty always appearing in luxurious billion-worthy outfits now dressed up so simple and even a bit sleazy. A renowned business woman who owns enormous property only has lunch at 33,000 VND, but not at any 5-star hotel restaurant. Her limited edition branded high heels are now replaced with 50,000 VND worthy flip flop, and Ky said that she used them for already 3 years.

Ly Nha Ky also opened her heart about settling down a family. Ky happily shared that people say if now she gets married and has a baby, it would be too complete for her, but perhaps that part of destiny has not come yet. Wearing wedding dresses on catwalk or photoshooting is completely different with wearing wedding dresses with sacred vows in front of family and friends. When being asked about the ideal man, Ly Nha Ky only laughed off and said he must be Vietnamese. Although having many opportunities getting known with international men who have certain political positions and power but they cannot touch her heart.

Ky loves children a lot but as a provident person, she said that at this timing she has to foresee in advance every situation and wants to stabilize the company first, then she can spend more time taking care of children. That’s why up to now Ky still not dares to think of the most noble responsibility of being a Mother.

Mentioning showbiz, Ky was not afraid to say that she’s been doing art activities for a long time and until now she always wishes to be real with the public. And that if she’s not doing something good she will show it out, not hiding it and doing any “tacky” tricks. She always wants to be a simple Ly Nha Ky with not many covers.

One hour having conversations with Ly Nha Ky is not enough to know about the beauty who has the best of both worlds – showbiz and business.

However, in such little time I suddenly realize that behind such flashy fame that Ky carries of the image of “the riches beauty”, “luxurious beauty” is a totally different person who’s simple, warm-hearted and easy-going, not tacky and ceremonius.
