After 2 days handling business at Cannes, out film producer and investor returned to the red walk of fame a larger than life dress named “The Oriental Sun” with Ha Long Bay hand embroidered scenery.
Last year she boldly introduced Son Doong Cave and Ho Chi Minh City printed on giant panels right across Cannes main red carpet and we thought nothing could surpass that. This year, the beauty seemed to skip any medium and wore directly her country down the walk of fame.
Appearing in the master piece of art called the Oriental Sun from the one and only Le Thanh Hoa, wearing a hand embroidered cape depicting the epic scenery of Ha Long Bay, she rightfully became the “Queen of Nature” on the red carpet.
With the rising sun at Ha Long Bay in mind, the talented Le Thanh Hoa meticulously created a stunning design.
He made sure the dresses wrapped around her body as much as it shined with all its Ha Long glory.
It was somewhat exotic to see the glorious ray of sunlight shinning on the heavenly landscape
of Ha Long Bay. Exotic but impressively classy.
And surprisingly, het set of jewelries to accompany the dress was only about 200 dollars. Standing on one of the most glorious red carpet in the world, Ly Nha Ky made a statement about being glamourous with the right accessories, regardless of the price tag.
Ha Long Bay has long been recognized as one of the most beautiful scenic attractions in the world. Since her day as the Tourism Ambassador of Viet Nam, Ly Nha has shown her unmatched love and dedication in bringing this Vietnamese natural beauty into worldwide popularity. “Even though my time as the Ambassador ended but the responsibility I still carry, I still can use my influence to make contribution to Vietnam Tourism. Through this design – The Oriental Sun, I want to once again showcase the beauty of Ha Long Bay to as many international friends as possible”, shared Ly Nha Ky.
It was a very tight-fitting dress, with 3D draping techniques creating images
of the wingsail on both sides of her shoulders and waist.
With gold and white taffta material completely imported, the soft but noble color delineated a sense of high class and luxury.
To fashion the cape, only the most proficient artists worked night and day in 3 whole
months to hand embroider Ha Long Bay scenery.
The look was completed with a golden sun detail front and center.
As the only representative from Vietnam officially invited to Cannes, Ly Nha Ky’s appearance marked her role as a film producer and investor, and an individual sponsor for Cinefondation. Through these last few days, Ly Nha Ky also appeared on French media to raise her voice about women right. She is breaking all grounds and solidly positions herself at Cannes.
At the end of the day, Ly Nha Ky joined the premiere of “Knife + heart”, a candidate for the Golden Palm. This is one of Charles’ production, her dear friend at Cannes who also co-produced E-book with Ly Nha Ky.
