Recently, Tourism Promotion Center - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism had the campaign to call for employees of all departments to help a hand in repair consequences caused by natural disasters of last October with compatriots in the Middle of Vietnam.

Realizing that the campaign held by Tourism Promotion Center - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism is very meaningful and practical, Ly Nha Ky decided to donate 500 million Vietnam Dongs in order to contribute to the work of repairing consequences of natural disasters through her Health Education Development Fund of Vietnam.

In the past 5 years, in the role of goodwill ambassador of Smile Operation, President of Sheenhok Fund of Vietnam, Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam and mostly in the role of President of Health Education Development of Vietnam, Ly Nha Ky has put considerable efforts to call for entrepreneurs and philanthropists together to join the humanatarian charity programme, such as examination and treatment for blind children at Phu Tho, Binh Phuoc province and for blind students in Hanoi, building charity houses for poor family at Kien Giang Province, building rural bridges for poor communes at Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, supporting “constructing new rural areas” in remote border areas of Ha Tinh Province…
Humanatarian programs were raised in the past 5 years by Ly Nha Ky and the Health Education Development of Vietnam received support and high evaluation of local departments, offices and agents in relation.

Due to tight schedule of traveling abroad for business, therefore Ly Nha Ky could not attend the ceremony of giving her donation to compatriots in the Central of Vietnam who is suffering natural disaster and flood in the last October. The actress chose to transfer 500 million VNDs to bank account of Tourism Promotion Center - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
Through the programme of helping a hand to support Central compatriots to repair consequences caused by natural disaster and flood in the last October of Tourism Promotion Center - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, Ly Nha Ky hoped that her gift could partly share the pain and loss with the people in flooded areas.

Sharing about doing charity, Ly Nha Kyconfided: “Every time knowing an unfavorable circumstance, tears suddenly well up in my eyes. In my head immediately coming out the thought of doing something to compensate those ill-fated people”.
I know I was born with lots of luck. Therefore I want to share my luck to those who have difficult situations. Personally I have charity projects every day, every month. However I still blame myself why there are still many pitiful destinies that I cannot share with yet?
