Contestant J was born in 1991 in Ha Noi, who has won the Asia Magic Championship 2017 held in Bangkok, Thailand. He took the role of an alien with a romantic love story. Starting the show, the contestant appeared along with a beautiful female assistant and perform magic tricks with the 3D screen. Afterwards, J approaches and held the hands of Judge Ly Nha Ky, gave her a bottle and indirectly smash it through the glass box and made the female screamed in fear: “Why do you keep scaring me?”. The contestant from Ha Noi then pulled out a rose and handed it to the actress from “Cold Summer”.

Then, J stepped into the glass box, lock it up tightly and suddenly switch places with the female assistant, making the audience wow in admiration. The handsome magician also performed a trick where he made the female assistant appear and disappear on stage eerily. Not stopping there, he created a planet model 6 meters tall on stage to complete his performance.
During his performance, J has chosen hard tricks with varying speeds to create a satisfying and awesome performance. The contestant has made Judge Ly Nha Ky said: “You always bring the audience surprises. Today you had all 4 factors, skills, arts, creativity, entertainment. The only I could say about is you are a great magician in the future”. Meanwhile, Judge Palmas gave his praises: “You have the aurora of a professional magician. Sitting in the judge seats, Palmas sometimes don’t even know where I’m at. Your performance was very great, entertaining and world-class.” J attitude was also praised when throughout the performance, he always held his calm and stay cool and true to the idea of the performance.
The remaining 3 contestants of the last night of the show also had very creative and colorful performances. Duy Anh brought on stage “The Mysterious Magic”, a scary story about “summoning spirits” drawing inspirations from the song “Love Spell” of Bich Phuong. He took on the role of a wizard turning a doll into a zombie and controlling it to his will, waving the knife in midair yet could cut a banana, taking from the inside of the banana the signature of Judge Ly Nha Ky.

Duc Joker made the audience’s hearts stop quite literally when he wore a full body leotard suit, including hands and feet, then proceeds to hang upside down from the ceiling, while underneath him was a plate full of spikes. He only had 50s to escape, before the spike snaps. And he had everyone watching hold their breath to the countdown timer.

Ly Phong took the role of a mad scientists with his strange experiments. He brought on stage large instruments, performing a human cut into 8 pieces, lying down on spikes, flying through a fan… creating dangerous stunts that few dares to try in Viet Nam.
Each contestant coming into the final of “The Mysterious Magic” had performed for 2 nights and the total score of 2 nights will be the final result. Accordingly, Magician J has won the Final with the highest score 203 points, and took home the prize of 200 millions dong.
