Just recently, continuing the first 2 days, the 75th Venice Film Festival carries on in Venice Lido, Italia, the only Vietnamese star who was officially invited is Ly Nha Ky showed up in a surprise spectacularly and stunningly on the luxurious red carpet together with a series of Holywood stars, in order to join the premiere of the movie Doubles Vies (Non Fiction).
Had just finished her first successful visit to Romania, then immediately planned for the flight agenda to Italy along with her crew in support for their own movie competing for the Golden Lion prize, Ly Nha Ky still looks gorgeously in the breathtaking costume from the designer Do Long, attracting international photographers’ lenses.
Picked for herself the dress decorated in thousands of rhinestones, created with the highest levels of craftmanship that the ombre dress turns from light violet to dark elegantly, the Ly beauty has drawn the attention of a large group of paparazzi and completely won them over with her hourglass figure and the gorgeous, luxurious look of a princess. Not only standing out in the sparkling costume from Do Long, Ly Nha Ky also draws attentions by wearing an expensive set of diamond jewels. According to her, the set of jewels the she picked is from the brand Paolo Piovan, a famous brand in the jewel industry of the world.
Her dazzling appearance has got her praises for her attitude and the fashion sense no less than any other movie stars, even though she only attends the most prestigious Movie Festival event in Italia for the first time.
It could be said that after 4 years of being the sponsor for the Cinefoundation fund of Cannes Film Festival, Ly Nha Ky has truly reach to the global movie industry level with very solid steps. The global medias kindly refer to her as an international film producer with high quality work that competes at Cannes and Venice Film Festivals. They praise the Honorary Ambassador on her great efforts in becoming successful as she is today, so that the name Ly Nha Ky could reach globally to the European audience that has made hundreds of Western fans to completely surrounded her asking for autographs. Director Olivier Assayas, who is considered to be one of the best film maker in Europe and also highly praised in Venice, is bringing the movie Non Fiction to the festival. The work is a light but sarcastic view on the book publicating world which is changing rapidly through the connection between an editor (played Guillaume Canet) and an author (played by Vincent Macaigne). Both were having life difficulties, always in a fight with their mid-life crisis, the constant changes in the publication industry made by the digital era and their insatiable wives who are always after more goals and desires.
After being introduced to critics at Venice Film Festival 2018, the work which was co-produced by Ly Nha Ky quickly garnered the attention from professionals and the media due to its fantastic message.
At the premiere, Ly Nha was warmly welcomed by the European public. Not only coming asking for photos and autographs, they also shown their admirations to the young entrepreneur from Asia who has achieved many surprising successes. This is shown directly in the new field that she has just started to invest in which is movies. After Cannes Film Festival, the second work by the beauty which is Non Fiction is being commended when being premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2018.
Throughout the film’s storyline are discussions between the characters revolving around the changes which are affecting the publishing world: the growth of e-books comparing to paper books, the problem of sharing information in the age of social media, the results from the everyday digital world,… Also, from this paper, Non Fiction shows the concerns from movie makers to the grand scheme of things called globalization, a continuous topic which was expressed in a comedic, sarcastic and complicated way. The movie has explored the effects of the changes in economic, technology and culture on the worldwide scale on each group and individual.
Participating as one of 21 excellent work competing for the Golden Lion prize, the most prestigious category at the Venice Film Festival, one of the best movie producer in France has received many positive comments. The international press consider Non Fiction, which is under the hands of the movie producer born in 1955, will be one of the top competitor in the coming race in Italia.
In her 3-week visit to Romania in the role of Honorary Ambassador, Ly Nha Ky was considered to be a young but very sharp Ambassador in many strategic issues.
It could be said that this 3-week visit is a North-to-South tour throughout Romania. Every province that Ly Nha Ky visited, she always had the chance to work with local leaders. Province’s Chairman, Vice Chairman and Government representatives all warmly greeted the new Honorary Ambassador from Viet Nam. Especially at the Gorj province, that was where Ly Nha Ky has the most activities.
And it was Mr. Gheorghe Nichifor himself, Vice Chairman of Gorj province Committee who visited Viet Nam last year and has bonded with Dak Lak province, has invited Ly Nha Ky to be the Travel and Culture Ambassador for the province. With her practical experience as former Viet Nam’s Travel Ambassador, Ly Nha Ky will explore the economy, culture, society of the city, and from there will form ideas to build bridges which hope to connect Gorj’s businesses with Viet’s.
Ly Nha Ky’s Romanian visit was carefully planned with the help of Romanian State Department, Romanian Ambassador to Viet Nam Mr. Valeriu Arteni and his wife, Chairman of the Viet Nam friendship Senator Group in Romania’s Parliament Mr. Lucian Eduard Simion and the Chairman of Gorj People Group in Bucharest Mr Sabin Stamatescu.
