  • Ly Nha Ky sponsored for the Fashion Exhibition Project in Paris

    Vietnamese Former Tourism Ambassador Ly Nha Ky has been recognized as the youngest Asian ever sponsored to a project of the Museum of Arts Decoratifs (France).

     

    From 10th of February to 19th of July, the exhibition gallery of Fashion and Textile which belongs to the Museum of Arts Decoratifs (Paris, France) will open an exhibition calls Deboutonnez (Unbutton Fashion) in purpose to introduce the new collection with more than 3000 buttons from 18th century to 20th century, the collection was completed in 2012. Ly Nha Ky is one of the biggest international sponsor of the exhibition, together with Susan Bloomberg, Stephen Schwarzman, The members of Fuhrman, and her best friend The Lebanese Billionaire Mouna Ayoub. Ly Nha Ky has been recognized as the youngest Asian sponsor in the history of the museum of the Arts Decoratifs.

    In the handwritten letter sent to Ly Nha Ky, Director of the Museum- David Cameo- respectfully expressed the appreciation of the companion of the former Vietnamese Tourism Ambassador to the French cultural heritage: “This exhibition is the result of the meticulous attention and passioned work of our teams around a precious and unique collection that we are impatient to reveal. Today, this project is about to become reality thanks to you.”

     

    Talking to VnExpress, Ly Nha Ky said “To become a sponsor for the Paris exhibition comes from my desire to contribute to the human value of mankind to protect the preservation of relics and the heritage of future, especially in the area of fashion and apparel, always associated to the daily life of every person.”

     

    Musée des Arts Décoratifs is the museum of decorative arts and design in Paris, France was founded in 1905 by members of the Association of Decorative Arts (Union des Arts Décoratifs). It is estimated about 86,000 products including fashion apparel, acessories and fabrics from the 17th century still now, all of them are stored in Arts Decoratifs. They areassociated with famous names such as Chanel, Pierre Balmain, Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior.

    Almost the sponsors of the museum are famous people such as billionaires, businessman and businesswoman like Mrs. Susan Bloomberg, ex-wife of the boss tycoon Michael Rubens Bloomberg with total assets of 35.7 billion USD, is ranked the 23rd richest person in the world. Mrs. Sylvie Nissen- the founder of all Sylvie Nissen galleries in all lobby of the Carlton Cannes hotel system. Businessman and philanthropist William Fisher and billionaire Mouna Ayoub…

     

    In this exhibition, the organizers will reveal how all the designers create all the buttons and apply them on the costumes during every historical period. Besides showcasing the art of these buttons, the exhibition was also introduced to the audiences over 100 costumes designs and accessories for men and women.
