Recently, Ly Nha Ky brought surprises when she became the major sponsor of her name exhibition project named “Unbuttoning Fashion” hosted by Les Arts Decoratifs, the famous museum of art and decoration in France. The Former Ambassador of Tourism shared that in order to become the major patron of this exhibition at Les Arts Decoratifs Museum is not only strong in economy, because the standard to choose proper sponsor are those having outstanding characters such as reputation and affection in the world or artists having grand influence to the world and the special love as well as great knowledge to art and fashion.
Ly Nha Ky shared the reason she becamse the sponsor for this exhibition is “To become a sponsor for the Paris exhibition comes from my desire to contribute to the human value of mankind to protect the preservation of relics and the heritage of future, especially in the area of fashion and apparel, always associated to the daily life of every person.”
Also Ly Nha Ky shared the hand-writing letter of Mr. David Caméo, the Museum Director, respectfully sent to her: “We are honored to count you among the greatest international patrons of this exhibition, such as Susan Bloomberg, Stephen and Christine Schwarzman, Glenn and Amanda Fuhrman, or Mouna Ayoub. Furthermore, we are proud to welcome you as the youngest Asian patron since in the history of Les Arts Decoratifs.”
From now on, in prepation for the Opening of this exhibition on Feb 9th 2015, Ly Nha Ky will be honored at the Museum, in the posters displayed on streets, invitations, catalogues… and in press of international as well. Especially, Ly Nha Ky is also honorably remembered as the memorable sponsor in 2 years at the donor plaque Rohan Hall of the Museum until January 2018.
Since now, she has become the honor guest of grand and prestigious events hosted at the Museum, participating in international communities where gathering many cult figures each year in Paris. This is a certain opportunity contributing to promote further the image of Vietnam and Vietnamese to the world that Ly Nha Ky always want to do in a rolee of a Vietnamese citizen, although her position is no longer a Tourism Ambassador.
Recently Ly Nha Ky is carefully preparing for this event. Up to her revealing, she will choose the traditional costume Ao Dai of Vietnam to wear in Paris because she wants to promote Vietnamese image which is a traditional woman in the grand exhibition event highly expected by the art and fashion society. She believes that this is the opportunity for her to contribute more to promote the image of Vietnam to the world better and further.
