At peak of her carrer, she played role of Diem Kieu character in Beauty and the Rich in 2008, talking about 3 Saigonese women whose profession is to trap and gold-digging rich guys. Ly Nha Ky completely succeeded to show inner feelings of a foxy lady but sometimes being weak and smitten in love. She left mark with sophisticated, sharp acting skills, and still after many years audience still remember of this movie along with her co-actresses Thuy Lam and Ngoc Lan. 

Afterwards, another impressive role of Ly Nha Ky was in Reversing ind, however it caught attention more by “fake movie real love” between her and Viet Anh. The movie talks about love of many people coming from different social levels. Again Ly Nha Ky acted a sharp and smart girl who fights hard for her love. The beauty seems to be fits well for “sharp-tongued” roles when in 2012 she was invited by Quang Hai director to join Cold Summer movie, which marked his appearance again after 6 years absent. Although the movie was criticized to be dragging long  and no emotions, however Ly Nha Ky completed her role brilliantly in role of Hoa character who is flirty and hot sensual scenes with the main actor Ha Viet Dung.

Since 2010, Ly Nha Ky was gradually absent from the screen and paid more attention for work. She attended many raising fund events such as being the ambassador for Operation Smile majoring in orthopedic operating cleft palate for children, or being the Vice President of SheenHok international charity fund, cum Present of this fund in Vietnam. In 2011, Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism decided to appoint Ly Nha Ky to be the 1^st Ambassador of Vietnam Tourism. Although confronting some barriers, but it could not be denied that the beauty did her job very well. She was highly appraised by the director of International Cooperation Department, and marked her impression by promoting for Ha Long Bay election to become 1 of the world new 7 wonders.

In November 2012, Ly Nha Ky also went to Macau to support for the hosting of ASIAD 2018 with the senior delegation of Vietnamese sport. However Vietnam had to pass this honor to Indonesia due to lack of organization expenditure. After Ly Nha Ky ended her tourism ambassador term, the government has not yet been able to find other candidate who is potential enough for this role and in fact this position is still left blank years after.
