Immediately after returning from France from a two week business trip, Ly Nha Ky flew to Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang) to be a judge in the Miss Grand International 2017 Competition.
Side by side with her on the judging panel were Ms. Teresa Chaivisut (Vice President of Miss Grand International Organization), Miss Ariska Putri Pertiwi (Miss Grand International 2016), Miss Claire Elizabeth Parker (Miss Grand International 2015), Miss Janelee Marcus Chaparro (Miss Grand International 2013), Mr. Lê Sĩ Hoàng (M.A. and Designer), Ms. Giang My (Miss Hung King’s Temple 1992).
With her role as one of the judge, Ly Nha Ky was loudly cheered by thousands of fans at the Semi Final of Miss Grand International in Phu Quoc. She was also invited to take pictures with many former Miss Grand International as well as Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil - the President of Miss Grand International Organization.
As a judge from the hosting country, Ly Nha Ky generously cheered up the contestants, giving them advices to remain calm for the final round. According to her, the judging standard would largely be based on one’s physical and facial beauty, complexion, stage control, and impressive outfits.
She will also continue on to be a judge in the final round on October 25th, also in Phu Quoc Island. Aparts from external factors, Ly Nha Ky will specially focus on inner beauty and wisdom from the best contestants in the final round.
