This marathon for children who suffer from cancer, organized by Tuoi Tre Magazine and Vietnam Union of Youth in HCM City, is within the chain of events to celebrate the 10th anniversaries of the program “Thuy’s Dream”.
Dedicating to the cause, despite having a sleepless night prior to the run, Ly Nha Ky did not hesitate to be as early as 4am for the run. Appearing in white jeans and uniform T-shirt but she did not loose her usual shine and gladly took selfies with many fans
After the ceremony, Ly Nha Ky joins thousand of volunteers on the run. “It was pretty tiring, I have to say, due to my packed schedule yesterday. But I do want to finish the run. The most important thing here is to help our little cancer patients. That is what matters”.
With nearly 2000 runners, the program “Thuy’s Dream” has been able to collect more than 500 million to support cancer patients. This Sunday, Ly Nha Ky will fly to France for a meeting with the crew behind E-Book by director Olivier Assayas, of which she is a co-producer.
