Her image has always been well kept, rigorously invested and prepared. And this year, even with a raised standard, she sure did not let us down.

- In this past year, you have successfully provided us with many memorable fashion moments. What is your secret to keeping this beautiful image intact?

I actually did not have any goals set or any secrets.  The most important thing to me is always staying focus and mindful about my publicity, that I have my responsibility to be formal, polite, and friendly to others in any situation.

I think beauty doesn't just come from the face or body, but the outfits and composure speak a lot more.

A good fashion sense is able to depict one’s character perfectly, therefore I am absolutely aware of mine. Perhaps that is why I am still loved and supported by the public and I am just too grateful for that.

- Every single dress you put on in your many international events will make headlines, which make people think that our Vietnamese designs are trying to compete for your attention. Is that true?

My choice is dependent on the event, building on my signature style. Many people misunderstand that my fashion choices only consider Haute Couture outfits and the local designs hardly make my list. But to me, I do prefer, if not prioritize, Viet designers, and that I never hesitate to present a Vietnamese outfit if it is suited for the events and my body. It is my wish to show to the world that we have many excellent designers.

- Many people praise the fact that your name is surrounded by luxurious designers’ clothes and jewelries, but others may decide that it is a waste of money. What do you think about that?

Let me see? We shouldn’t judge any one if we don't understand their stories and situations. It is also unnecessary to give out advices that would be neglected and unhelpful. To me, I never judge and don't want to be judged, we should not give opinion about something that is not a part of our life. 

- Perhaps, you are using fashion to polish your reputation?

There are so many different ways to polish one’s reputation, depending on his or her field of work. I feel like using fashion is perfect for designers, as their names are closely attached to their fashion collection and sense of style.

As for me, with my job as a businesswoman and artist, I want to be remembered for my work and my contribution to charity and the society. Fashion is only a way that I can express myself to the public, helping me with my confidence and communicating with others. 

We are so curious about how much money you spent on clothing, would you mind spilling the tea?

Oh, I don't have the habit of doing that, please don't ask me to do something so uncomfortable like this.

Not many celebrities could own such an impressive collection of luxury bags and purses like you. So is this some kind of hobby, or a way to maintain your unmatched high-class status?

-   You know, I consider my self as someone who is financially independent, a strong willed woman, a keen businesswoman; I know I am able to handle money.  And yes, collecting handbags and purses is one of my personal hobbies, definitely not a way to express my high-class or anything.

-  Have you thought about building a “never before” image in 2018?

- I can definitely try some different things. But I quite happy with my current image, I have been working on it for years and it has made me the person I am today.

What does she say about the explosion of beauty pageant?

- 2017, the year we got tired with too many beauty pageant, suddenly it seems to us any time any where there will a Miss something walking down the street. As a frequent beauty pageant judge, what do you think about this situation?

I did hear what people had to say about this, I think I have heard about some new beauty queen everyday even more than new taxi or uber driver … (laugh).  But actually if the pageant it self is professionally organized, with a profound purpose and meaningful activities, along with integrity of contestants as well as judges, there is no reason to dismiss the title.

But unfortunately, there are too much wrong in these competitions, even bribery or fraud, which should be more than enough to eliminate these pageant as a whole. I wholeheartedly support events that praise the natural beauty of Vietnamese women, events that create more than just value of the looks for the individuals, the organizations, and the title it self.

- Most recently, you was a judge in Miss Grand International 2017, in which many buzzing stories about out contestant Huyen My were raised. How do you feel about being involuntarily involved in these rumors?

Like any other big beauty pageant, Miss Grand International 2017 raised its own opinions surrounding the judging panel and all the contestants. Depending on the fitting position, one’s ought to know how to behave and give out words accordingly. Therefore I don't want to comment anything further on the subject matter. My responsibility as a judge has successfully ended along with the competition.

-  To us, you sure exceed any qualification to be in a beauty pageant like Mrs. International and others. Do you see a day that you will be a beauty queen?

I am too flattered, really. But I think each of us has our own strengths, vision, and ambition in life. Those titles are not in my list and I feel that a more dedicated person could be better fitting for those titles along with all the responsibilities and rights then me.

I am quite satisfied with my position, as a woman in business, an actress, and a devoted philanthropist. Only when doing things you like, you can utilize the maximum of your strength and make tangible contribution.

A dream wedding this year, maybe?

Any man who can win your heart, must be a perfect man, isn’t he?

Wow, my boyfriend must be under much pressure with this question, maybe I should ask him to answer this. And when he does, I will sure to tell you (laugh).

- As a perfectionist in fashion, your boyfriend must be someone who dresses apart as well.

I think these are two different matters actually. My desire for perfection comes from my personality, sense of style, and my attention to my image. But my boyfriend on the other hand only comes from what my heart wants. A man for me is a man of dignity and personality, not his sense of style.

- Your fans are very excited about the possibility of your wedding. Will 2018 will be the answer for their wishes

I am so thankful for all the best wishes, that many people love me and wish for me to be a bride. Actually, my special day is closer than we think.
