Cannes 2018 third day, Ly Nha Ky – the international film producer from Viet Nam – appeared on the red carpet with a headline worthy dress.
It was yesterday she was bringing loud and clear a message of women empowerment in a black panther inspired outfit and tribal braided hair, today Ly Nha Ky transformed into an 80s’ noir film star in a deep tone lavender gown.
This year especially, Ly Nha Ky frequently presented many outfit designed by famous local designers from Viet Nam to Cannes red carpet. Not exclusively, she has been more and more determined in bringing quality design-in-Vietnam dresses to both international and local events.
“As a Vietnamese, I wish to bridge that gap between Vietnamese designers and my international friends. Previous outfits that I have brought to Cannes were well received and praised by international fashion houses around the world”, shared the beautiful lady.
Along with the local dresses, Paolo Piovan jewelries played a major role in fashioning her luxurious graceful style into perfection on Cannes red carpet. Third day this year, Ly Nha Ky chose a neck tight mini band necklace, zic zac earrings, and an eye-catching octopus detailed ring.
According to Cannes activity plans, Ly Nha Ky was invited to the premier of the movie Plaire, Aimer Et couvrir vite by French director Christophe Honoré, one of the superior candidates for the Golden Palm 2018. “Coming to Cannes, being surrounded by and working with many of the most excellent people in the industry, I am more and more equipped to make the right decision in my film career,” she gladly shared.
Currently, the busy celebrity is closely working with the team of her movie Angel Face to review the project and planning the promotional direction ahead. Both parties are ready for the premiere of Angle Face at Cannes the night of May 12th.
According to the official news, Angel Face, co-produced by Ly Nha Ky, will officially have its grand premiere show. The ceremony includes all artists, directors, producers, and others involved dressing in black. This high honored is only rewarded to a small number of films during the festival, often the ones with high expectation from both the critics as well as festival-goers.
Prior to the show, Ly Nha Ky will walk the red carpet with the entire the team, including the talented director, the actress in spotlight Marion Cortillard to launch the project. This is the very first time there is a Vietnamese producer included in the candidate list at Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard category. And we have every right to expect more wonderful surprises from this amazing woman.
