The lady producer glowed with perfection in an enchanted black and white mermaid dress from designer Hoang Hai. The impressive gown with intricate embroidering complemented her beauty in the spotlight.

Through all 11 days of Cannes Film Festival this year, Ly Nha Ky marked her every red-carpet appearance with grace, poise, and sophisticated fashion choice. For months prior to the event, she dedicated herself into planning and preparing every single outfit with local designers.

And Angel Face – one of the candidates for Un Certain Regard co-produced by Ly Nha Ky, unfortunately did not win, but it was such an honor to her and the team to be nominated. “Where we are today isalready the biggest motivation for myself to keep improving in my new role. And now, I am more than ready to continue my work in the film industry,” said the wonderfully talented Ly Nha Ky.

Ly Nha Ky’s journey at Cannes this year was more than just fashion, she was satisfied with her successes in promoting Vietnamese tourism and culture.

She also revealed she will be welcoming a famous producer to Viet Nam in the near future to do research on a film about Vietnamese culture.

When the Golden Palm this year surprisingly went to the Japanese film Shoplifters by HirokazuKoreeda, Ly Nha Ky could not hold her wonder: “This was such an awe for everyone, Korean director Lee Chang Dong with his movie Burning was almost definitely favor to win.”
