Ly Nha Ky puts a lot of effort into looking like a queen in Cannes, and sure she does.
1. As usual, the highly anticipated opening red carpet of Cannes Film Festival this year was filled with celebrities, actors and actresses, directors, and producers around the world in the best of outfits. And Ms. Ky was here to impress.
The dress she went with this time was from designer Do Long, a stunning red, voluminous gown that could startle anyone at sight. Do Long proudly shared: “This is more than just a typical Cinderella inspired dress, I want it to bring both class and that old-time magic of princesses in fairytale. It is off shoulder – we made sure to stay trendy and seductive, but there is a bow detail that embodies the most intricate butterfly landing on a blossom”.
After much discussion about the design and details between Ly Nha Ky and designer Do Long, with close consultation from makeup artist Minh Loc, the complete outfit came to life. And the result was a success, Cannes first day, Ly Nha Ky truly appeared as stunning as a queen, this was definitely one of her most memorable dresses.

And what could better accompany this dress other than Paolo Piovan diamond jewelries. She was definitely a scene to see on Cannes red carpet this year.

5. Like Georges Hobeika, designer Alexis Mabille is one of Ly Nha Ky favorites. This fashion designer has been with her through many important events. This dress took the classic mermaid form and turned it into a masterpiece. It cost more the 50.000 Euros (roughly 1.2 billion dongs).
6. And here is a handmad-only lace mermaid dress from an Italian fashion house - Ermanno Scervino. There are only 3 of the kind, in Britain, France, and Italy, and each is 20.000 Euros (498 million dongs).
7. The most expensive dress she has ever put on was a custom from Chanel. The design came from the Spring Haute Couture in 2013 of the fashion power house. Ms. Pascale Cadaux – the sale manager of the company and her assistant came all the way to Viet Nam just to assist Ly Nha Ky trying on the dress. This lace vintage design cost a whopping 80.000 Euros (more than 2 billion dongs).
8. In the premiere of Elle by director Paul Verhoeven, Ly Nha Ky stole the scene in this pink pastel gown. A Georges Hobeika piece embellished by 3D intricate flowers details that cost 700 million dongs.
9. At the premiere of The BFG, the beauty donned a mossy green gown that easily cost 250 million dong.
10. 1.7 billion dongs is the impressive price tag on this Alexis Mabille haute couture dress. With the list of stunningly expensive dress, no wonder Ly Nha Ky is duped the most invested fashion lover of Viet showbiz.
