The media was somehow quite surprised with the appearance of Ly Nha Ky at the Congress of Motor & Bike Federation of Vietnam yesterday. Not wearing any luxurious or sultry outfits as always, Ly Nha Ky still attracted all eyes with her edgy beauty and urbane elegance.

After winning the election of the Vice President of Motor & Bike Federation of Vietnam position, she opened her heart about the difficult job coming ahead that she will be in charge of: “Sport is an indispensible area of life and society. In my eyes, Vietnamese sport has developed in recent years but actually still not yet meet the expectation and admiration of audience.

The motor and bike sport in particular, I see that other countries in the continents and over the world is considerably paid attention to and greatly invested. In Vietnam, although there is potential but this sort of sport still develops not so much. Therefore after careful consideration, I decided to join in the Federation because when offering me this position, leaders of the Federation has placed high hopes about my significant contribution afterwards for the Federation. I myself also believe that I can share a part of my efforts.”

Facing a half difficult – half easy question: “With your beauty and talent of doing business, do you think you can attract many sponsors for the Motor & Bike Federation of Vietnam?”, she smiled brightly and did not avoid it.

She gently answered: “Sport significantly needs socialization because with the support of entire society then not only sport but other areas will have solid foundation of finance to grow.

I also think that calling for socialization and calling for entrepreneurs to invest in sport is one of my strengths because I luckily have wide relationships and also high credits.

Besides, I’m doing business and a public figure therefore I will do my best to become the bridge to connect sources of socialization.

However I have to admit that I’m not too good at media area. There are many people around me who are much better at this field. Regarding public relation, I’m thinking to work out plans for how to create the effectiveness in movement. All races need movement. If we have a strong movement, sport will develop strongly among teenagers and adolescents”.

Ly Nha Ky was answering the media

Ky was quite confused when being asked about the number of money she’s planning to earn for the Motor & Bike Federation of Vietnam: “It’s difficult to say at this period of time how many billions would be earned.

I just hope that relationships of mine and others in the execution board will share the same ideas and opinions and that will push the Federation to have more vibrant activities and further development. That would be more worthy than asking me about the number of sponsorship. Sponsorship needs to come from a team. Just like charity, alone myself cannot do everything. I think what works is the connection. What I can bring is the connection. For sure that only me cannot build up success.”

Ky shared more: “I did the job of tourism ambassador without salary. Everybody here works without salary too which is not different. When still being Ambassador of Vietnam Tourism, what I assembled after a year working is creating the consciousness for everybody with better and stronger tourism promotion. This time, I’m trying to promote a way that can drive young people to elderly to the love of bike racing sport.”

“So do you practice biking?”, Ly Nha Ky again smiled softly but she was a bit shy: “Those leaders in the federation asked me this question a lot. I’ve never practiced any sport before but from today, the first sport that I aim to practice is biking.”

Execution board of Motor & Bike Federation of Vietnam in the 6th term includes 27 members. The new President of Federation is Major General Pham Van Huan (Editor in Chief of People’ Army Newspaper). Other Vice Presidents alongside with Ly Nha Ky are Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Vo Hoang Phong, Nguyen My & Tran Anh Tuan. The general secretary of Federation is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu.
