As a co producer for this much anticipated project, Ly Nha Ky not only promises a commercial and academic success for this movie, she also dedicates her time to work on set with the whole team.
E-book is the very first project that Ly Nha Ky participated as a co-producer, directed by the famous Olivier Assayas, and also produced by Charles Gillibert, starring Juliette Binoche (who has worked with Olivier Assayas in "Clouds of Sils Maria" a nominee for the Golden Palm in Cannes 2004), and Guillaume Canet (husband to Marion Cotillard). And much to everyone surprise, Ly Nha Ky quickly wrapped up her work with E-book and has begun producing her second project named Angel’s Face
Along with Ly Nha Ky this time is the great producer Marc Missonnirer. His name alone convinced Marion Cotillard to be in this movie. As the two producers on this project, Ly Nha Ky and Marc Missonnirer observe carefully and closely through out the working process. They often discuss the movie itself, and it's future promotional plan.
In return, the international team on set loves her dearly, welcoming her every visit. In many breaks during the shoot, they all gathered to talk and took pictures together.
Knowing the whole team must work intensively in even through Christmas, Ly Nha Ky generously prepared gifts for individual team members. Her caring act was very touching and encouraging to all, director Vanessa Filho thankfully hugs Ly Nha Ky for all her efforts. Even the young star of the movie could not hold back her excitement for Ly Nha Ky’s present.
For now, all information about Angels’s Face is still classified therefor the young girl who has the honor to star with Marion Cotillard is a mystery to us. Ly Nha Ky can only say that this special girl has won over more than 600 candidates for the slot. Her natural and talented acting has amazed every one on set.
Ly Nha Ky revealed her great respect for the team especially for the actors and actresses due to their selfless sacrifice. Everyone worked intensively regardless of the freezing cold of French winter with heavy snow, below zero temperature, and thunderstorm in order to finish shooting accordingly. Despite the hard condition on set, shoot after shoot is done with excellence even when it requires the actors to be in thin clothing. Ly Nha Ky could not hold her immense respect for everyone working on this movie.
Angel’s Face will be done by this week and the movie will be ready for 2018 film festivals around the world. And after Angel’s Face, Ly Nha Ky will continue to skip her much-deserved break to move onto another movie because now her aim is the prestigious Oscar Award.
