Ly Nha Ky seemed to enjoy this design from the talented Dinh Van Tho, an ao dai design that speak nothing but royalty and eminence.
resembling a member of the highest aristocratic class in the old time.
Her favorite choice, pearl jewelries from Paolo Piovan brought nothing but class to the look,
letting her truly emerge as a queen like character through the night.
Ly Nha Ky has always been a fan of designer Dinh Van Tho because of his signature form fitting style, traditional and sophisticated, with master level skill in handling and processing of material, techniques, and excellent taste in patterns and details.
And this ao dai was a vivid example for a classic, graceful and timeless design that could bring out the royalty side of the owner. She confessed her passion for the traditional ao dai of Viet Nam. In many official events with high officers from different countries, she never missed any chances to present this national treasure to friends around the world.
The Ao Dai Festival of Ho Chi Minh City is an annual event, starting in 2014, with an aim to preserve and induce the cultural values of ao dai, the proudly Vietnamese traditional dress, generating the public’s awareness and passion for this piece of clothing.
This year program with theme of The Grace in our Ao Dai wanted to celebrate the presence of Ao dai in our daily lives and deliver the message “I love ao dai Viet Nam”.
Ly Nha Ky happily shared: “I think this year program is very diverse, delivering many great messages in a very complete way. Our ao dai, honestly, is a very versatile piece of outfit. We can see ao dai everywhere in many occasions from our daily lives, to formal events, in school, or even just hanging out with friends. About the festival, I have to say, there aren't many cultural events like this that is able to bring such feelings and memories to us as deeply as this one. I think every performance here is just so relatable, almost as if they are slices of our normal lives.”
